Kelly Organic Cotton Handwoven Towel - Peroxide
The Kelly cloth is named after the craftswoman who wove this stunning fabric. Made in her studio in North Carolina, Kelly worked with us to bring our slubby, chunky, organic cotton dreams to life.
This cloth is sensationally tactile and makes a great hand towel in the kitchen. We also made this the perfect size as a placemat to create gorgeous place settings at the table. It would look great underneath a vase on a console, or even used as an art piece on the wall. Though this cloth was woven for general use as a towel, we really think it's simply too extraordinary to be limited to one purpose. Please use it however it inspires you to.
These cloths were dyed using all-natural dye materials. Slight variations in the cloths are welcomed and embraced. Please note that due to the nature of the dyes, interactions with acids, oils, vinegars, etc may cause shift in color.
Size: 16x20 inches
Fiber: 100% Organic Cotton yarn. 50% USA grown. 50% unknown origin. The slubby organic boucle was an experiment from a US spinning mill that Kelly was able to get her hands on. The mill did not provide fiber origin for the yarn. Its nearly impossible, if not entirely non-existent, to find organic boucle yarn made in USA (regardless of fiber origin), so we decided to make use of this beautiful chunky yarn for our goods.
Thread: 100% organic cotton spun in Holland.
Label: 100% Organic Cotton. Printed with non-toxic ink in Texas.
Dye Details:
Peroxide White - Hydrogen Peroxide
